Update: MicroDork is, without a doubt, a boy! I don't think I've ever seen a more obvious penis on a grainy, black and white ultrasound picture in my life.

Just thought I'd let you all know that's we'll be welcoming "MicroDork" this spring. MiniDork is excited to be a big sister. ManDork is anxiously awaiting invitations for medical school interviews. I'm just trying to stay awake all day. :)

I don't post much anymore, but I do lurk. So I wanted to pop in with our good news.

Thanks everybody. Here's hoping that if ManDork gets into a US school, we won't be moving back to a Romney presidency with our (soon-to-be) two kids. We just faxed in our absentee ballots today...to Utah. Americans abroad have to vote via the last state of residence. We were living in Utah (BYU) right before we moved north. I really wish I could vote from my home state (I grew up in Ohio). Then my vote wouldn't be so useless. Oh well.

Does anybody else feel like they're on the verge of a panic attack whenever they hear Romney speak? I just immediately flash back to some of the worse experiences I've had with patriarchal jerks in the church. Not all the Bishops and leaders I knew were pricks (some were actually really fantastic, and I still feel warmly towards them). But I can't even see Romneys face without being transported back to my time as a TBM. Something about his look and manner of speaking just strikes me the same as the smarmiest, douchiest of bishops I've known.

Yup, yup, yup. I can't even listen to him. I have to turn down the sound when he comes on TV. It's a very visceral reaction.

(And congratulations!)

Congrats!

I love the naming scheme. The possibility of a NanoDork, PicoDork, or FemtoDork makes me laugh.

Great news

I wish every person had the opportunity to be born into a loving family - that's all.

What a different world we'd be living in, eh?

Oh no. No, no. We will not be adding anymore after this. :stare:
Any further variations on "dork" will have to be used on potential pets.
