You could vote 3rd party if you're going to cast a hopeless vote. My state is definitely going to go Obama no matter what, so I'm choosing to vote for Jill Stein instead.

I live in Utard. Romney is gonna get the electoral votes regardless of who I vote for.

My leanings are more to a democratic sense, therefore I've backed Obama's horse, but in the recent weeks this has become my conclusion as well.
well...it's always been a conclusion lurking around in my head, & I've always had a suspicious distrust for politicians to begin with, but last night it finally came out of the closet of my mind and I embraced it completely.


This election is making me nutso. Like Coffeelove mentioned in another post, Romney really pushes my buttons in ways that haven't been pushed for a very long time.

Last week I had a conversation with a friend who is anti-Obama, claiming that Obama has taken money from the Muslims. What are her sources? I didn't ask. ( I didn't dare want to engage her further in the middle of what looked like a rabid dog attacking a bone. There was no talking to her in that state.)

On the other hand, last night I spoke to an uber tbm co-worker about the recent t.v. pres debate.
She's all upset believing that Romney won't get voted in because he's mormon. Then she says that Romney wants to approach it as a business and the gov has to be approached as a business & Obama's not doing that. That Obama single handedly has been the worse pres to create the biggest financial mess and....get this... the country is... wait for it.... "hanging by a thread."

She doesn't know I'm an exmormon and that I'm very familiar with this mormon concept.
I wanted to ask her that if it's hanging by a thread and God backs Mormonism as his one true church on earth today, then why does she firmly believe that Romney will lose?



She already had the wild look of do-not-disagree-with-me-about-anything glazed look in her eyes and I dropped that avenue.

I told her that Obama inherited years of million dollar a second war debt before he was even elected & that cleaning up that mess isn't going to be easy for any president.

She said that Obama was financially invested in the economic catastrophe before his election.
I asked her what her sources were, not that it would surprise me, but she was source-less.

She said that Romney will clean it up because being a corporation owner he understands how corporations work.
I thought, oh yeah, he certainly does know how corporations work alright. LDSinc has benefited from the Romney connection for decades.


I said that Romney won't allow financial transparency and how do you know he wasn't financially involved in the same thing you claim Obama was ?

Her response: He's not that kind of person!!

I said, "their all puppets, but who do you think are the money bags who hold the strings? They are just faces of a money corporation."

She did NOT like her Mormon Romney criticized for being even remotely dishonest or devious.



I can't wait for the election to be over.
Then I will explain to her why people don't want someone running their country who has scary, kooky beliefs.
